E3 “Versus”

We were tasked with developing a concept and look & feel that would make Verizon, a brand often seen as only a telco, feel like it belongs at the world’s biggest annual gaming conference - E3.
To open the keynote, we created a cinematic title sequence that intertwines gaming motifs with our core goals for the future of gaming. We pay homage to various gaming genres through a series of scenes visually tied by an emanating red glow to represent Verizon’s 5G Ultra Wideband. This inner glow also refers to the theme of “Versus”, the internal battle and sense of one-upmanship gamers experience with themselves, always seeking to out-perform their previous bests.
